Funeral services with full police honors for Officer Curtis Gooden will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church on Moores Lane. Burial will follow at Cedar Springs Cemetery in Hooks, Texas. Gooden, 38, a K-9 officer for the Texarkana Independent School District, was killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident near Kirby, Ark. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Haynes Mortuary and the viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
