A former Liberty-Eylau teacher and coach has been indicted by a Bowie County grand jury on charges of sexual misconduct involving a female student.

According to a list of indictments provided by the Bowie County District Attorney’s Office, Geoffrey “Todd” Tye, 34, of Wake Village has been formally charged with three criminal counts: improper relationship between educator and student-sexual intercourse, improper relationship between educator and student-sexual contact and one count of indecency with a child.
