Half-priced books to benefit library

Thousands of quality used books will be offered at a special half-price sale when Friends of the Library has its monthly book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 and 29.

This month only, books will be discounted 50 percent from already low prices. Funds from the sale benefit the Texarkana Public Library.

“Anything that the library needs we try to provide,” said Barbara Baily, Friends of the Library bookstore co-chair.
