Former deputy prosecutor hurt in crashBurke charged with DWI
HOPE, Ark.—A former deputy prosecutor remained hospitalized Friday in the St. Joseph Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs, Ark., after he was injured in a two-vehicle crash.
John Gilbert Burke, 40, of Hope, a former Eighth Judicial District-North deputy prosecutor, is charged with driving while intoxicated. No information was available on his condition Friday at the request of the family, a hospital spokesman said.
