NAPLES, Texas—Naples First United Methodist Church, 201 Cedar Ave., will celebrate 125 years of ministry with special services at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The speaker will be the Rev. V.A. “Jack” Cox, former pastor of the church.

Cox served as pastor when the current sanctuary was completed in September 1972 and during construction of the fellowship hall in 1973.
