Texarkana, Ark., Police Department hosted a Tactical Combat Firearms Course at its range facility Tuesday and Wednesday.

Members of the local media were invited by firearms instructors Capt. Mark Lewis and Lt. Doug Avery to try the course for themselves.

“We have to account for every round that comes out of our weapon,” said Lewis. “This is not Hollywood.”
