A dropped cell phone caused a driver to lose control of her Ford pickup, which flipped three times Tuesday morning, authorities said. The driver survived with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Sandra Chapa, 42, of Texarkana, Texas, was driving a Ford F150 northbound on Buchanan Road about 9:45 a.m. when she dropped the cell phone she was using.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Trevor Phillips said the woman reached down to retrieve the phone and lost control of the truck.
