Texarkana Water Utilities is mailing letters to its Texarkana, Texas, customers, notifying them of a tiny problem in their water.
Recent tests revealed a contamination level that slightly exceeds state limits and the problem comes from the water sources, not TWU. Bill King, TWU’s executive director, said there is not a definitive explanation to the “unusually high amounts” of organic material found in Texarkana’s two water sources, Millwood Lake and Wright Patman Reservoir.
