A Texarkana, Ark., man has been arrested on a second-degree battery charge after allegedly stabbing another man in the stomach.

Police responded at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday to a residence in the 1900 block of Senator Street in reference to a stabbing, according to a police report.

Police found the victim, Arthur Lee Moore, 56, of Texarkana, Ark., holding a white T-shirt over the middle of his stomach.

Witnesses said Moore had been at the house on Senator Street visiting with friends.
