NEW BOSTON, Texas—Even before the new year starts, the Bowie County Commissioners Court approved 11 national and religious holidays for county employees for 2008 during a meeting last week. There is a holiday for each month next year except for June and August. In other business, Commissioners approved having Bowie County Clerk Velma Moore attend various schools, seminars and conferences for next year.
