A Texarkana woman facing murder charges in Miller County was taken back into custody Thursday during a pretrial hearing.

The bondsman who had guaranteed Marachelle Reader’s bail told Circuit Judge Joe Griffin he no longer wanted Reader as a client.

“At the present time, I’d like to surrender Ms. Reader’s bond,” said Mark Luckett of Bail Bonds Now. “She’s failed to maintain contact with me. I never hear from her.”

Luckett told Griffin he consistently has trouble finding Reader and that Reader doesn’t check in with him as agreed.
