The Hometown Health Coalition met Thursday to discuss plans for 2008.

A variety of agencies were represented at the meeting and officials expressed hope that the coalition will make a big impact on the community.

“Our goal today is to determine where we’re going to go with the Hometown Health Coalition,” said Tonya Domokos, co-chairman.

The coalition has several focus areas in 2008, including wellness, substance abuse prevention, increasing membership and Older Arkansans, a program to help seniors live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
