An altercation between two men resulted in a stabbing Monday evening at the Days Inn on North State Line Avenue and may have been drug related, authorities said.

Takado Davis, 23, of Bradley, Ark., was found by police about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the lobby of the motel with six stab wounds to his torso, said Officer Kristi Mitchell, spokesman for the Texarkana, Ark., Police Department.

LifeNet paramedics took Davis to CHRISTUS St. Michael Health Center where he was listed in stable condition Tuesday, Mitchell said.
