DE QUEEN, Ark.—A suspect in the burglary of the Horatio City Drug Store attempted to escape twice Tuesday after his arrest.

One escape attempt included knocking his wife down near the entrance of the jail and running out the door, authorities said. The suspect was recaptured within minutes.

David Emfinger and Levi Martin, both of De Queen, were arrested Tuesday as part of the investigation into the burglary of the Horatio pharmacy, said Sevier County Sheriff John Partain. Their ages and dates of birth were not available Wednesday.
