Ross Perot searches for old rolltop desk

Texarkana native Ross Perot is looking for an old oak rolltop desk, or, if not the desk itself, a photo of the desk, that used to belong to his family. The desk is the only piece of furniture he hasn’t been able to secure from his family’s house on Olive Street.

When his mother moved from Texarkana in 1958 or 1959 she gave or sold the desk to a friend. The desk had a noticeable nick or gash in the front made by Perot’s Boy Scout knife.
