An inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana pleaded guilty Wednesday to eating more than salty snacks in prison.

Marcus DeShawn Hunter, 26, admitted before Federal Magistrate Caroline Craven of the Eastern District of Texas that he ate marijuana filled balloons hidden in a bag of potato chips that was brought to him by a visitor. According to a press release issued Wednesday, the balloons were recovered by prison officials.
