Children dream of being rich someday, and third-grade students at Liberty-Eylau’s C.K. Bender Elementary School on Thursday learned the secret.

Mark Lingle, Red River Employees Federal Credit Union’s student loan administrator, shared with children some of the keys to smart money management.

“You are the future generation. If we can get you to save, you may not have to borrow as much when you’re older,” Lingle said.

“If you start saving now, you’ll see your money grow and grow.”
