About 15 Hooks Elementary students met Saturday with Nickelodeon star Lil’ JJ at Central Mall.

Lil’ JJ, an actor on Nickelodeon’s hit show “Just Jordan” has been traveling on behalf of the Hazel Harvey Peace Scholarship Fund Education Awareness tour to inspire children to stay in school and be on their best behavior.

“It’s a reward for their good behavior, a promise from Lil’ J.J.,” said Marcell Dean, manager of a local kiosk for the foundation. Lil’ J.J. met with the students at the local Chuck E. Cheese restaurant.
