K-9 search team plays vital role

The exercise was conducted at one of the bi-weekly training sessions held by the Bowie County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team. The Bowie County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team members train year-round in all conditions to better emulate real search situations. The team includes 12 dogs and their human trainers who meet twice a week to hone the skills needed in emergency situations.
