A husband and wife who once worked for the Postal Service pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to using a post office gas card for personal expenses.

Paul Gregory, 43, and Millie Gregory, 40, appeared before Federal Judge David Folsom of the Eastern District of Texas with their attorney, John Stroud of Texarkana.

The Gregorys told Folsom they used the gas card to buy gas and other items for themselves, family and friends over a period of about a year. At their sentencing, the two are likely to be ordered to pay back about $45,000 to the U.S. government.
