Officers and volunteer firefighters searched a wood line for the missing victim of a single-vehicle rollover accident that occurred about 12:20 a.m. Monday on North Kings Highway.

By the time rescue workers arrived, Jonathan Williams of Queen City, Texas, the driver of the wrecked car, had left the scene and gone to a relative’s home, said Sgt. Shawn Fitzgerald, spokesman for the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.

It is unknown whether Williams was injured in the accident. He refused medical treatment, Fitzgerald said.
