ASHDOWN, Ark. —The first-degree murder trial of a man charged with shooting a used car dealer is set for June 16 in Little River County.

Victor Threadgill, 33, of Ashdown, is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing May 27.

He is charged with killiing Mike Snead on Jan. 11.

The shooting happened inside S&S Motors in Ashdown.

According to reports, Snead called 911 at 7:42 p.m. that evening saying he had been shot. When police and the LifeNet ambulance crew arrived at the dealership, Snead, 46, was found in a back room lying on a couch.
