Zoning leads tonight’s agenda for the Texarkana, Texas, City Council.

Amendments include allowing an office building at the corner of Arista and Cascades boulevards and a 40-bed Alzheimer’s assisted living facility in the 4200 block of Richmond Meadows Street.

The council will also consider rezoning 5.8 acres in the 4200 block of McKnight Road from general retail and multiple family to office and general retail.

The council will also consider appointing Kerry Meredith as city secretary to replace the retired Geri Haddock.
