Public invited to attend free class on severe weather, storm spotting
A “SKYWARN” class will be held in Ashdown from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today to introduce people to the National Weather Service warning system and teach weather-spotting skills.
The free class will be in the Little River County Courthouse and will explain the hazards of severe thunderstorms, said Don Hale Jr., coordinator of the Little River County Office of Emergency Management.
