The Pleasant Grove High School Showstoppers placed second on Saturday in the overall Best of the Best standings at the American Drill Team Classic in San Antonio. They competed against eight teams in the medium team division. They were also voted the Outstanding Team by their peers. Other team awards were sweepstakes, Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence and Judges Award for military, kick, hip hop and jazz. Showstoppers are under the direction of Tiffany Beck.
