Physician wants to answer queries about conviction concerning porn

MURFREESBORO, Ark.—A physician convicted on federal charges of possessing child pornography maintains his innocence and will answer any question about the conviction during a town hall meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday in Murfreesboro.

Dr. Lonnie Joseph Parker, 42, of Eureka Springs was hired to help keep Pike County Memorial Hospital open.

But his contract to practice medicine at the hospital and a clinic has been suspended after the governing board was informed of the child pornography conviction.
