The 14th annual Corporate Spelling Bee and Private Auction benefiting the Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller Counties is right around the corner.

The event raises money for the programs provided by the Literacy Council.

“This is our only fund-raiser of the year,” said Kristie Dempsey, executive assistant at the Literacy Council.

The Spelling Bee is a fun event with good food and refreshments and a little healthy competition.
