ASHDOWN, Ark.—The position of Little River County Sheriff is the only contested countywide race for the May 20 Democratic primary, and three Ashdown alderman positions are being challenged.

The sheriff’s race will include incumbent Sheriff Danny Russell and opponent Charlie Neff.

The following Little River County offices will be unopposed with the incumbents seeking re-election.:

County Judge—Clayton Castleman

Assessor—Allie Rosenbaum
