Guard accused of bringing drugs into jail pleads not guilty
A Bowie County Correctional Center guard accused of bringing marijuana into the jail pleaded not guilty Monday.
Marquise Deshun Hunt, 21, is free after posting a $25,000 bond, which was reduced from the $100,000 set at the time of his arrest. He was indicted by a Bowie County grand jury on Jan. 31 and has been formally charged with possessing a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.
