Fouke Elementary wins grant to aid students’ well-being

Fouke Elementary School is one of 15 schools to receive a $2,000 grant from the Office of Coordinated School Health with the Arkansas Department of Education for the implementation of physical activity, nutrition and tobacco initiatives for the remaining school year.

“Our goal is to improve the health of the children here in our district. We believe that children who are healthy and well-educated are our communities’ greatest asset,” said Principal Ken Endris.
