The Housing Authority of Texarkana, Texas, Board of Commissioners agreed Thursday to buy nine pieces of residential property along West 12th, 13th and 14th streets that may be used for future public housing sites.
During its monthly meeting, the board agreed to buy the lots from land owner Jacob Ray for $72,660.
In other business, the board agreed to dispose of outdated housing equipment, such as old refrigerators, washers, cameras and desks.
A financial report showed how much each of the authority’s public housing complexes gained for last month.
