DE QUEEN, Ark.—A 50-year-old Mena man pleaded “not true” to a probation revocation Thursday for failure to continue restitution to the De Queen Handi Mart from which he reportedly stole $23,778.30 in cash.

Richard L. “Rick” Wright appeared Thursday before Ninth Circuit Judge Charles Yeargan in the Sevier County Courthouse for failure to comply with the conditions of his probation.

Yeargan accepted the not true plea and ordered him to return to court May 1 so Judge Ted Capeheart, who originally heard the case, could render a sentence.
