A pickup truck was found burning while partially submerged Thursday morning in the Little River near U.S. Highway 71, but no driver was found.

Little River County Sheriff Danny Russell said a camper at Ashley’s Camp on the Little River reported the burning Chevrolet extended cab truck about 7 a.m.

Ashley’s Camp is located near the border of Sevier and Little River counties in Southwest Arkansas.

Russell said the Lockesburg Volunteer Fire Department arrived to extinguish the fire. Only the front bumper and part of the grill, which were submerged, didn’t burn....
