A Hooks, Texas, teenager who allegedly stole candy from a Little League ballpark concession stand in 2007 was released from jail Thursday afternoon after some stern words from a Bowie County district judge.

“I don’t know what life holds for you in the future but I’ve got to do what’s right today,” said District John Miller. “Then we’ll decide what to do over three boxes of candy bars.”

David Webster was 17 when he and a friend allegedly pushed in an air conditioning unit in the concession stand wall at the Little League baseball fields in Hooks, Texas.
