A 33-year-old Texarkana, Ark., woman was shot in the stomach early Saturday at an apartment in the 1400 block of Richmond Road, officials said.

Serena Mullins was in stable condition following the shooting, said Sgt. Shawn Fitzgerald, a spokesman for the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.

She no longer was registered as an inpatient Monday at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.

Police were dispatched to St. Michael, where Mullins had been taken by her boyfriend following the shooting, about 12:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Jones said Saturday.
