The pets of the week are Sandy, a red, male Chow mix dog in kennel HP7, and Mack Daddy, a male, tan-and-white Siamese Himalayan in cage C18.

The fee to adopt dogs is $40. Cats can be adopted two for $40. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Texarkana Animal Shelter, 203 Harrison St. All animals have been wormed and received their seven-in-one shots. For more information, call the shelter at 870-773-6388.
