The Drug-Free Community Coalition is partnering with the Miller County Hometown Health Coalition to raise parental awareness of underage drinking with a series of town hall meetings.

“The Surgeon General has put out a national call to action for underage drinking,” said Tonya Domokos, a member of both coalitions. “Unfortunately, Miller County was one of the highest-rated counties for underage drinking.”

Town hall meetings will take place in communities nationwide the last week of March and the first week of April to help educate young people and caring adults.
