NASHVILLE, Ark.—A 1,600-pound, big, bad, burly bull made Nashville Police Sgt. Ty Basiliere back up his patrol car.

But it was too late.

About 2 a.m. Tuesday, the burly bull had decided to attack the 1998 Ford patrol car.

The bull was being unloaded at the livestock sale barn on Arkansas Highway 27 bypass early Tuesday morning when it escaped from the owner and the people helping to unload the bull, said Police Chief Larry Yates.
