Diligent students bring money to college

Texarkana College has received a windfall of $190,799 because of an increase in students’ hourly enrollment, the administration announced this week.

“We were one of seven schools in the state who qualified,” TC President Frank Coleman said at Tuesday’s board of trustees meeting.

Among community colleges in Texas, TC has the state’s second largest growth rate.
