Jury finds man guilty of burglaryWoman testifies of attack at her home; judge decides sentencing today
NEW BOSTON, Texas—When one of her attackers couldn’t get a screw driver to pierce the skin on her neck, he tried hammering it in with a larger object, a victim testified Wednesday during the trial of LaQuincyun Cortez Mack.
Mack was found guilty of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit robbery by a jury of six men and six women who deliberated for about an hour Wednesday. Mack will be sentenced this morning by Fifth District Judge Ralph Burgess. Mack chose to let a jury decide guilt or innocence but wants a judge to determine his punishment. Mack, 22, sank lowe...
