The Border Masonic Lodge is pooling its resources for a yard sale to raise money to replace the rusting roof on its 15,000-square-foot building.

“Our roof is pretty flat and rusting in places. It’s going to cost several thousand dollars to replace the roof or rebuild it,” said Charlie Clay, secretary for the Masons. “We are doing a series of fund-raisers to see if we can raise enough money to replace or repair it.”

The yard sale will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the lodge at 918 Westlawn Drive. In case of rain, the sale will be held indoors. <...
