Some want alcohol sold in NashPetitioners hope to get issue on ballot

The owner of the store, Jan Whitley, believes voter approval of the measure to sell alcohol in Nash, Texas, will help her business get the edge on Wal-Mart, which is near her store. The petition to sell all types of alcohol in Nash was initiated by resident Catherine Bernice Hesson. Randy Valenzuela, owner of the Fiesta House Mexican food restaurant on New Boston Road and Hesson’s father, said it’s possible to apply for and get a permit to sell alcohol in his restaurant now.
