Longtime Little River Memorial Hospital employee Nona Richardson was honored recently at the fourth annual Little River County Health Fair and Senior Celebration.

Richardson received a plaque dedicating the hospital’s new mammography machine to her and her daughter, Nona Marie Cobb, who died recently after a battle with breast cancer, said Jackie McKellar, director of marketing for the hospital.

Richardson is a licensed radiologic technologist, who started working for Little River Memorial Hospital in 1959.
