Jack’s Isle Baptist Church will host a family day picnic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the church grounds.

The annual event will feature barbecue ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings as well as live music throughout the day.

The musical lineup features singer, songwriter and musician David Patillo. He has written more than 400 songs, including “Ten Thousand Angels Cried,” which was performed at the memorial for the Sept. 11 firefighters and recorded by LeAnn Rimes.
