Training for pesticide licenses will be offered at 6:30 p.m. May 15 at the Cossatot College of the University of Arkansas campus in Ashdown.

The class is required for persons who need to recertify or apply for a private applicator restricted use pesticide license, said Joe Paul Stuart, Little River County extension agent.

The class requires a $10 registration fee.

“If you do not currently have a private restricted use pesticide license and would like to become certified, plan to attend this training session,” said Stuart.
