The gospel duo Silver Threads will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Sylverino Baptist Church.

The group features the musical and vocal talents of Pat Hall and Carol McGee, who perform a variety of Southern gospel favorites.

“Their music spreads the gospel message through song,” said the Rev. Ken Polk, pastor. “They are very entertaining, but they also minister.”

The concert is free, but a love offering will be taken for the group’s ministry.

The church is on U.S. Highway 71 South between Texarkana and Fouke.
