The next meeting of Vietnam Veterans of America 278 will begin at 1:30 p.m. May 18 at the American Legion Post at 525 E. Broad St. The meeting will begin with a meal of smoked brisket, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, soft drinks and coffee. Members are asked to bring a covered dish.

The business session will begin immediately after the meal. Topics to be discussed will include veterans’ issues updates, committee reports, fund-raising ideas and scholarship awards.
