The Texarkana Animal Shelter is once again raising money with its “Tails of Two Cities” day planner.

Pages are available for people or businesses to honor or memorialize their beloved pets.

“I think most people just absolutely love their pets. In so many ways pets are part of your family. They’re just as much a part of your family almost as your children,” said Jan Nelson, day planner committee chairman. “You love them and take care of them. People love to memorialize their pets or honor their pets because they’re part of the family.”
