A woman with a connection to the suspect in the shooting death of a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper may still face charges for her possible involvement.

Jennifer Lynne Petrick, whom the DPS described as an “alleged accomplice” and Robertson’s girlfriend, surrendered to police about 5 p.m. Thursday at an abandoned barn just off Club Lake Road near Linden, Texas. Her surrender came after her boyfriend, Brandon Wayne Robertson, 37, of Tyler, Texas, killed himself about an hour after dozens of police descended on the hideout.
