DODDRIDGE, Ark.—Gospel music and grilling, fried pies and $100 in a treasure hunt were fine lures Saturday at the Spring Bank Ferry Festival held Saturday at the city park.

“It has been a lot busier this year,” said Walt Burnett, Doddrige Volunteer Fire Department chief.

“We also had a really great breakfast and the political candidates have been out, most of them,” said Burnett who is also a leader in the Doddridge Community Development Council.
